Booking window watcher · beta

Set a watcher. Get notified when the booking window opens.

Tell ParkClaw your campground, dates, and party size. The watcher tracks Recreation.gov's 6-month booking window and sends you an email when the window approaches and opens. Auto-Claim is available only when explicitly enabled with a credential vault reference and receipt logging.

Watchers track booking windows and send email notifications. Auto-Claim requires explicit opt-in, a vault reference, and an executor integration. Without an executor, ParkClaw records a fire-ready receipt and sends you to Recreation.gov; it does not claim a booking.

Under the hood

How a watcher earns trust.

01
Arm the watcher
Pick a campground, dates, party size, and backup sites. The watcher is persisted and tied to your account — it survives server restarts.
NPS · RIDB inventory
02
Window approaching alert
You receive an email 48h and 24h before the Recreation.gov 6-month booking window opens so you can prepare. You book — no automated action taken.
Email notification · live
03
Cancellation monitoring
When a facility ID is known, the watcher checks Recreation.gov availability and alerts you when a match is found. Act fast — cancellations go quickly.

Receipts. No black box.
Every check, notification, and state change is logged. Watcher detail shows exactly what happened, when, and what source was used. Nothing is hidden.

Lobster economics
A subscription buys tool calls. Lobsters cost less.

Every ParkClaw query is one tool call. Let a Lobster (an agent) make the same call on your behalf and it counts as half a call. The math nudges you toward the thing that makes ParkClaw better at scale: agentic use.

Human ask → 1.0 tool call Lobster ask → 0.5 tool call Watcher alert → 1.0 tool call · email sent Watcher (idle) → free Source receipt → free
